Setting Up for Success

Just as you have high standards for whom you allow to work with your dog, Laura has high standards for her clients. She is most successful with clients who take responsibility for working proactively and positively toward success. 

PRIVATE TRAINING Sessions

Private lessons are the appropriate starting place for pets with specific behavior challenges, including fear and aggression, as well as for owners wanting to learn on their own schedule or with ample individual attention.

Private training with Laura Monaco Torelli is available in your home environment if it is located within the service area of downtown Chicago, Lincoln Park, West Loop, South Loop, Old Town, Streeterville, Gold Coast, Bridgeport, and Hyde Park.

Laura also offers in-home "day training," where she trains your dog for two sessions a week at your home and then transfer the skills to you in a third session. The minimum requirement for this option is two weeks. 

All private training clients must provide proof of veterinary care before training begins, including: 

• Proof of wellness exam from referring veterinarian

• Proof of completed age-appropriate vaccinations from veterinarian, including: distemper, parainfluenza, parvo, bordetella, and rabies (if old enough)

• Proof of intestinal parasite screen within the last 12 months, with negative results, from veterinarian. If the results of the intestinal parasite screen are positive, proof that the dog is undergoing appropriate treatment and is cleared for training.
